Mike Tindall will take the headlines after being named in England's side for the clash with Romania on Saturday in Dunedin with both player and country looking for a change in fortunes after a poor start to their World Cup campaign.
England will hope the presence of Tindall in the centres alongside the likes of Mark Cueto - who takes his World Cup bow - will be enough for Martin Johnson's side to record their third Pool stage victory. England flattered to deceive against Georgia last weekend despite running in six tries with a performance littered with ill-discipline. Johnson was bullish in his post-match dismantling of the team exclaiming that if they did not improve their conduct around the breakdown then they would be arriving back at Heathrow sooner rather than later.

With this in mind, England will be going all out to prove to coach and doubters alike that they are still a force to be reckoned with following a week where Wales and Ireland recorded important wins. Standing in their way is Romania; a team which England have played on four occasions and have racked up some impressive victories in the process - most notably their 134-0 dismantling of the Oaks back in November 2001.
With Romania impressing against Scotland - narrowly losing out to two late tries from Simon Danielli - and then falling away against the Pumas, they will hope to save some face with a commanding performance against Johnson's England. Though having amassed just 21 points in their previous four meetings with England compared to the red rose side's 268, history is firmly against them.

England - Player to Watch: It's hard to look past the return of Mike Tindall in England's midfield. The veteran centre will hope to put down a marker against the Oaks on Saturday in a bid to put to bed his off-the-field strife.
England - Team News: Johnson welcomes back Cueto on the wing in place of Delon Armitage while Shontayne Hape makes way for the returning Tindall. Jonny Wilkinson is back at fly-half in place of Toby Flood while James Haskell starts in the back-row at No.8 alongside Lewis Moody and Tom Croft. Tom Palmer and Louis Deacon start in the second-row with Alex Corbisiero, Steve Thompson and Dan Cole forming the front-row. Bath duo Lee Mears and David Wilson will hope to make an impact from the bench.
Romania - Player to Watch: Ionel Cazan crashed over for the Oaks in their previous run out against the Pumas and he will hope to keep his try scoring form going against England.
Romania - Team News: The most notable absentee for Romania is skipper Marius Tincu with the hooker having to be content with a spot on the bench for the Pool B clash. Bogdan Suman steps into the void in one of 11 changes in personnel. Cristian Petre serves as captain and he starts alongside fellow survivor Cazan who switches to midfield, where he will line up alongside Iulian Dumitras. Ovidiu Tonita moves from openside flanker to No.8. and he will have Sandu Burcea and Cosmin Ratiu for company in the back-row. Elsewhere Petre has been paired with Valentin Poparlan in the second-row, while Nicolae Nere and Silviu Florea will start either side of surprise inclusion Suman. As for the remaining back positions, Marin Dumbrava has been recalled at No.10, with Lucian Sirbu joining him in the half-backs. Florin Vlaicu, Stefan Ciuntu and Adrian Apostol are the chosen back-three.

Key Battle: Bogdan Suman will be going all out to prove to the Romanian selectors that there are two hookers in the squad rather than just the dominant Marius Tincu. And with Steve Thompson facing up against Suman, expect a physical and attritional battle in the front-row.
Stats: Romania have scored a try in each of their last 13 Test matches.
England rugby team:
All-time record: Played: 4, England won 4, Romania won 0.
Biggest winning margin: Eng: 134 (134-6 London 2001)
Highest score: 134 (134-0 London 2001)
Most tries: 20 (134-0 London 2001)
Individual Most points : 45 Rob Andrew
Individual Most tries : 4 Jason Robinson and Chris Oti
Previous World Cup meetings: None
Romania rugby team:
All-time record: Played: 4 Romania won 0.
Biggest lossing margin: Eng: 134 (134-6 London 2001)
Highest score: 15 (15-22 London 1985)
Most points (individual): 15 Dumitru Alexandru
Most tries (individual): Eng: 4 Jason Robinson and Chris Oti
Previous World Cup meetings: None
Trivia: England made 20 offloads against Georgia last weekend - more than any other side thus far in the 2011 World Cup.
Quote Unquote:
"We have put it to bed. We are looking forward to a big game, we are playing Romania"
- England coach Martin Johnson is keen to focus on the threat of Romania rather than off-field issues.
"We want these players to prove that they are good enough to play even against England, which is one of the best teams in the world. To achieve what we did in the first game, consistency, and to prepare for a very good game against Georgia, which will be four days after this game."
- Romania's coach Romeo Gontineac lays down the marker for his side
Prediction: England will be out to impress against Romania and with the likes of Tindall and Wilkinson in the side expect them to produce a clinical and resounding victory over the Oaks.

Tri-Nations 2011 : Australia vs New Zealand Final Live Stream

Australia and New Zealand will go head-to-head for the Tri-Nations crown at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday night.
The Wallabies kept their title hopes alive with a notable victory over South Africa in Durban earlier this month and a similar result over their Trans-Tasman rivals this weekend will see them capture the Tri-Nations silverware for the first time since 2001.
But standing in their way is an All Blacks side determined to bounce back from a reverse at the hands of the Springboks, complete a successful defence of the trophy and in doing so ensure their Rugby World Cup campaign begins on the surest of footing. New Zealand enter this latest clash with the sizeable Bledisloe Cup silverware already safely ensconced at home thanks a commanding victory at Eden Park and will be confident of completing the job having never lost at the old Lang Park since matches were moved across town from Ballymore in 1996.
While the naming of each side's World Cup squad has brought some stability to the equation, the Wallabies have had a far from settled build-up to this game with a new skipper named in the form of James Horwill, young back James O'Connor handed a ban for missing the official announcement, confirmation of a fight between players on their latest end-of-year tour and a friendly-fire injury to first-choice scrum-half Will Genia all hitting the headlines. In contrast it has been business as usual for the All Blacks as they target their sixth title in the last seven years.
Australia - Player to Watch: Stripped of the captaincy, all eyes will be on Rocky Elsom to see how he reacts to being just one of the foot soldiers. As a class act on and off the field, you can expect him to silence his critics with a big display.

Australia - Team News: Lock James Horwill will lead Australia for the first time, becoming the 77th Wallabies Test captain. Horwill packs down alongside Dan Vickerman, who makes his first start for the Wallabies since August 2008, with Nathan Sharpe captaining the Australian Barbarians against Canada on Friday night. Radike Samo makes his first start since 2004 at No.8 while Reds team-mate Anthony Faingaa is the beneficiary of O'Connor's suspension as he comes off the bench to start alongside Pat McCabe in the centres. Adam Ashley-Cooper moves to right wing. Scrum-half Will Genia has shrugged off concerns over a potential concussion suffered in training.

New Zealand - Player to Watch: The All Blacks were bullied at the breakdown last time out but with Richie McCaw back in the fold expect them to raise their game with Captain Tackles at the heart of the effort.
New Zealand - Team News: Captain Richie McCaw and fly-half Dan Carter return for the All Blacks among 11 changes to the starting XV that lost to South Africa in Port Elizabeth. Only prop Tony Woodcock, hooker Keven Mealamu, flanker Adam Thomson and lock Sam Whitelock retain their places. Jerome Kaino and Sonny Bill Williams are the major casualties with neither even finding their way on to the bench. Isaia Toeava covers the centres and back three from the bench with Ma'a Nonu and Conrad Smith once again linking up in midfield and Zac Guildford and Cory Jane selected on the wings. Piri Weepu ousts Jimmy Cowan at scrum-half while Brad Thorn packs down with Whitelock in the engine room and Owen Franks joins Mealamu and Woodcock in the front row.
Key Battle: New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter took the spoils in his most recent showdown with Australian counterpart Quade Cooper but don't expect him to get everything his own way this time around with the latter on home ground. Time will tell which of the two outstanding playmakers gets to dictate the terms of this mouth-watering match-up.
Trivia: James Horwill has the chance to become the first Wallabies skipper to lift the Tri-Nations trophy since 2001 - on that occasion it was also a lock who got his hands on the silver, the legendary John Eales.
Stats: The All Blacks have won 11 of 13 Tests against the Wallabies since Kiwi Robbie Deans switched sides in 2008.
Quote Unquote:
"Being a second-rower watching John Eales as I was growing up, he was clearly a great of the game and in that era when his team was very successful. So he's a guy I look up to as a player and also as a leader now."
- Australia captain James Horwill pays tribute to a Wallabies legend
"If the officials can make good decisions on the evidence they have got, why not? I know it's outside the laws of the game - they should only adjudicate over the goal line. But I haven't got a problem with it"
- All Blacks head coach Graham Henry draws a line under the controversy surrounding their recent loss to the Boks.

Prediction: Despite the Wallabies-heavy Reds' recent victory over the All Blacks-laden Crusaders in this year's Super Rugby finale, the Suncorp Stadium holds no fear for the visitors and they will underline their World Cup credentials with an impressive show of strength to silence their nearest challengers once again.

Auckland vs Wellington Preview: ITM Cup 2011

Auckland entered the competition as the bookies' favourite but after two losses its finals chances are already tenuous and another defeat might knock the visitors out of contention in only eight days.

VENUE & TIME: Westpac Stadium, Wellington, Saturday July 23 @1935
HEAD TO HEAD: Played 171; Wellington 78 wins, Auckland 90, drawn 3.
LAST TIME: September 11, 2010 (Auckland) – Auckland 21-15 Wellington.

WALKING WOUNDED: Cory Jane suffered a well-publicised (and slightly gruesomely displayed) compound dislocation of his finger last week but would likely have been on All Black duty anyway this time. Piri Weepu may or may not play, depending on how much time the national selectors give him on Friday. Hurricanes forwards Jacob Ellison and Faifili Levave return for the Lions. Both Daniel Braid and Chris Lowrey suffered head knocks on Wednesday that have ruled them out of this game, although Braid's eye-socket was not fractured as at first feared and he should be back next weekend. Having made a whole mess of changes for the midweek game, Mark Anscombe has changed most of them back again and this team is as  close as possible to the one that played Canterbury.

Watch Wellington vs Auckland Live

FORM:
Wellington:
Round 1: beat Taranaki 23-5 (a)
Auckland:
Round 1: lost to Canterbury 33-40 (h)
Round 2: lost to Otago 25-32 (h)
Wellington did nicely against Taranaki, making far better use of the chances offered and easing out to a surprisingly comfortable win that would have been even bigger had the goal-kickers not had difficulty hitting the target. There was enough for Andre Bell to get his teeth into at training this week to remove any complacency, but he would have been happy with the way Wellington's forwards controlled territory in the closing stages. Auckland made a good start against Otago but, for the second match running, went to sleep in the middle stages and only woke up when it was too late. Mark Anscombe had a strong case for a penalty try from the play that saw Halani Aulika sin-binned, but he would have been nothing but filthy on his players for allowing two tries while he was off the field and one immediately after he returned. By then Otago was out of sight and not even a strong finish could prevent Otago's first Eden Park win since 1976.
WHO'S HOT: Jason Woodward got the headlines for Wellington last week, as tends to happen when you score three tries in your first championship match. It was very nearly four, as he showed good pace and awareness of where to be and when to be there. Dane Coles has the chance to impress this season and as a senior member of the pack needs to take it each week. Faifili Levave had several strong matches for the Hurricanes, where he demonstrated strength and determination in the tight exchanges and Wellington will want more of the same. Steve Luatua was a good go-to guy in the Auckland lineout against Canterbury and solid around the park, while Peter Saili's return at No 8 adds experience, skill, and a tough competitor who also enjoyed a good year with the Blues. Joe Rokocoko looked sharp collecting his two early tries against Otago and if the visitors can get his some good ball with a bit of space to work in he may well be the most dangerous back on the field.
WE THINK: If Auckland is to rescue its faltering season it needs to start on Saturday, because another loss will probably be terminal for its final hopes. That said, Wellington will be keen to keep its own solid start going and has the firepower to do that, especially if the forwards knuckle down again. They should, and so Wellington by five doesn't look a bad call.

Wellington: 1. Jacob Ellison, 2. Dane Coles, 3. Neemia Tialata, 4. Jeremy Thrush (capt), 5. Mark Reddish, 6. Faifili Levave, 7. Scott Fuglistaller, 8. Victor Vito, 9. Piri Weepu or TJ Perenara, 10.
